capital demands design address the hyper-specific moment of The Now; the site of consumption, of transaction. Thats all it cares for; where it eats. But we all live in the permanent ruins of what is created for that moment. designers should design them instead. that is our world.

to make the thing is to make its impact, its memory, the product of its extended use, its legacy, and its language. "Good Design", such that it might exist, is the art of building this phantom value in the future from the most minimal physical compromise in the present.
