This is not the hedonistic, sweat glistening dancing of summer where the crowd writhes in life. This is a dark, sweet desperation to be near people. Coats are shed, people are stiff when they begin. Bodies that haven't moved freely in months take a few moments to work warmth back into their bones.

The definition for myself for a long time is, are you trying?
Are you trying to be kind? Are you trying to be generous? Are you trying to make the world more beautiful?
And I say trying because I have experiences of times in my life where I've tried to be kind and I couldn't be.
