I speak to some of the greatest female thinkers every day as a job. Some observations:
- all struggle with not being taken seriously, ALL of them
- women never fully know when someone is helping or using them - women never know if someone just likes them as a person
- women seem hireable; many men see you as a future hire as opposed to a leader or
I became aware of a whole new perspective on feminine and masculine energy, and that’s when I realized the key that was missing. Instead of trying to fit my body and its biological rhythms into a paradigm clearly suited to male physiology, I needed to create a paradigm that included my physiology at the center.
I understood with sudden clarity that doing the right thing—being right—gets you nothing in this world. It’s the sinners everyone loves: the flailers, the scramblers, the bumblers. There was nothing sexy about getting it right the first time.
If you grew up putting others first too much, you may end up living a life of reaction rather than one of fulfillment.
