A group of four couples, best friends for over 30 years, turned their dream into reality by building a tiny town where they could live together in retirement. Known as the Llano Exit Strategy, this unique community is located near Austin, Texas, by the Llano River. Designed with the help of architect Matt Garcia, this tiny town offers a sustainable and peaceful getaway just 90 minutes from the city. Each of the four cabins is 350 square feet and cost around $40,000 to build. These lifelong friends have created more than just a living space—they’ve built a dream retreat where they can enjoy their golden years together.
