I don't know. Could be worse. Could be better. I don't subscribe to any kind of theory that says things used to be better. That's bullshit. 200 years ago, people used to just, like, stare at flowers and go, "man we stare at flowers too much we gotta be farming."

I have noticed that when all the lights are on, people tend to talk about what they are doing – their outer lives. Sitting round in candlelight or firelight, people start to talk about how they are feeling – their inner lives. They speak subjectively, they argue less, there are longer pauses.

I'm not surprised at all. Building good consumer products is insanely hard and takes lots of time and iteration.
