Perfectly elaborates why I always, and especially now, felt icly about Substack and writing on there. It’s like I never fit in, because I wanted to be my whole sense and write about whatever the heck stuck in my mind that week and instead I’ve been forced to follow some sort of marketable thread that is obviously more beneficial to the system it is for myself
I’m not a complete person and I don’t want to write from that place. I’m still incomplete, why force myself to speak from the pedestal of someone who has all the answers and has learned to steer clear of ambiguity?
Same goes for any kind of artform - but also applies to existence of specific tools for specific jobs (to an extent)
This made me rethink how not having an answer or, rather, attending an event and going home with more questions than answers isn’t necessarily as bad as I thought
