interesting company founded by Trip Adler, the former CEO of Scribd, helping creators license their intellectual property to LLMs. Walter Isaacson (who wrote the biographies for Steve Jobs and Elon Musk) is an investor and advisor. I’m skeptical this will be a meaningful stream of revenue for creators and media companies.
the scaled ad play on social is kind of over. Even Meta is working on paid products now for its apps for Instagram and Facebook. I don’t really see any of the more upstart social companies focusing on a scaled ad play. I think we’re past that era.
