This feels very tied to parts work in internal family systems. We must greet the parts that are dark within us. Approach our exiles and try to understand them. We must bond with the parts who keep the exiles away and seek to integrate them. Accepting the darkness within ones self, the pain, the ways we have suffered. Acknowledge the ways that we have perpetuated that suffering. Let it grow or fester. Figure out how to live with it inside of us embodied not exiled to progress.
