Great article translating Maslows hierarchy of needs to design. 1) Functionality - does it work 2) Reliability: does it work consistently? 3) Usability: Is it easy to use? 4) Proficiency: is it empowering to use? 5) Creativity: aesthetic, creative flourishes, innovation(!)
