People who live in fear of others stealing their ideas generally don’t have many good ideas.

Creativity is abundant. Execution is scarce.

What typically prevails is not the best vision—it’s the best implementation.

Escalation isn’t failure. It’s a responsibility. If you’re facing a challenge you can’t overcome, you escalate. If you see something broken that’s not being addressed, you escalate. If you feel like your concerns are being dismissed, you escalate.

This is now a guiding principle at Ninety. Failing to escalate is the real failure.

The catch: 80% of American workers agree the US would benefit from more manufacturing jobs, but almost 75% disagree that they personally would “be better off” working in a factory, according to a Cato Institute/YouGov survey. —ML
