Loose Vibecamp thoughts: Headline is simply that all of this is real. Your mutuals are your friends, the people you follow but don't know you yet would like you, the community you've cultivated here deserves the trust and respect and admiration you've placed in it.

I've done a few events as a first timer/solo, and Vibecamp is, by far, the best place I've been for most people to come to alone, bright eyed and bushy tailed, to find the Others.

in 2022 i was living in mexico, pretty isolated and very lonely and this whole “vibecamp” idea seemed super scary and just like a HUGE risk and probably not worth the expense of the plane tickets. but also, all these twitter people seemed REALLY REALLY NICE. i’d had some video

So Vibecamp IV starts in 22.75 days and people keep openly wondering if they should go, so I'm going to tell you why *I* go and will keep going even they stop paying me to be the Aide de Vibecamp.

I have a vibecamp ask we're worse off financially than i had realized, but will be fine if we sell enough tickets in the next few weeks if anyone feels inspired to write threads about their experiences to help fence sitters decide one way or another, it would be appreciated!
