Grit
Grit is not shame. Grit is being able to operate at a level of enjoyment. The middle ground between shaming and coddling. You learn to be able to go on runs and enjoy it. To find the joy in eating healthy. To the late nights building the business.
Many of us operate out of same, guilt, fear in every area of our lives. We punish ourselves because we hate our bodies. We punish ourselves with restriction. We go all in to mitigate the shame, but then spiral after the motivation wears off, back into shame.
