Linear doesn’t have metrics goals - the founder thinks setting specific metric goals can lead them astray. Product goals should be about how we solve our customers’ problems better.
When Steve Jobs set goals, he kept them shockingly simple and didn't include any metrics or benchmarks.

i think too many people are assuming that they can turn on a "artist" switch after years of making money doing something. probably most confusing while working broadly in the creator world
