My perception of a dish/drink that's got reviews is not something written in stone. For one it's also living thing, made and consumed, so I will never have the exact same dish but as a consumer I'm afraid my fov limits me to see only the package, the end result.
Rarely do I ever think about what goes into making it. Peaches vs Apples. Seems like a small detail, but can be a butterfly effect.
Whether my creative ideas are rooted in an immediate context window or not a box is required. my head is also a box, but not a good one at storing ideas
The package is not merely a container. It's a tutorial, or a walkthrough.
It's an experience. A guided experience. We call this UX, and the most commonly used package is ironically a product that's co-opted the word — the app.
Before that we had the good old book cover, 1r the box.
