“You have the whole history of all recorded music at your fingertips for no money, and that devalues music in general. It doesn’t properly express the work that goes into it, and it certainly doesn’t express how essential music is to the human experience.”

Don’t create the content you think people want to consume, create the content you want to consume. If it interests you, you’ll make it interesting to others.

Content creators, by definition, don’t care about what they’re creating but only about the fact that they’re creating something. If you are a creator and you care, you should never think of yourself as a “content creator”
