this is kind of why I am not buying any new clothes this year - my values right now are environmentalism and sustainability, and buying brand new clothes does not suit that. however, i still highly value aesthetics, beauty and expressing myself through fashion and hair. buying second hand allows me to experiment freely with this. and as a matter of fact, in an even freer way, because buying second hand allows me to do this very cheaply.
