whenever I try to put together some kind of “master resource” it almost always ends up being overwrought and tedious
when I write something like a personal recommendation doc for a friend, it almost always ends up being useful for other people and way easier to share too

i usually describe this to people as "make your work people-shaped", which is the cognitively ergnomic way of talking about "cognitive ergnomics" (which is, tragically, not cognitively ergonomic)

This "breaking out" of previous assumptions seems to me to be at the core of what people mean by the word "wisdom".
Wisdom as Embodied Frame Selection
My understanding of wisdom is that it can be described as adaptive and embodied frame selection or construal.
I continue to believe one of the biggest issues in our built environments is failing to use enough passive heating and cooling mechanisms. Failing to use enough passive components generally! Stuff in motion is stuff that breaks and costs energy to run.

can’t stop thinking about how we get drained if we haven’t charged up on visual imagery in a while - it’s like our inner nature archetypes, which are reused for many cognitive tasks, degrade over time unless we keep syncing them w the real thing
