my spiritual practice? oh you mean having hard conversations, stumbling & repairing, getting 1% better daily, accepting responsibility (these are much more difficult for me than the below)

I can't stress this enough If your spiritual practice is not deepening your honesty, making you braver in relationship, bringing you closer to the beautiful mess of real human connection, it's not helping you Chasing holiness, righteousness and bliss will keep you shallow

Everything I'm taking in right now points to the idea that the actual spiritual practice in one's life is active participation with the real life stuff: job, partner, chores. Not the retreat, not the meditation, not the isolated vision quest.
