The #PLPeaceTower, formally known in Japanese as the #DaiHeiwaKinenTō, was constructed in August 1970 by #TokyuConstruction on behalf of the Church of Perfect Liberty in Tondabayashi, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Standing an impressive 180 meters tall, it symbolizes peace and serves as a cenotaph dedicated to all war victims across humanity. The tower was personally designed by #TokuchikaMiki, the second leader—or “Oyasama”—of the Church of Perfect Liberty, who drew from the church’s spiritual philosophy to create a structure resembling a finger pointing skyward, expressing the belief that “Truth is One.” The prestigious architectural firm Nikken Sekkei contributed to the architectural planning, while Tokyu Construction executed the build, combining visionary design and technical expertise into this iconic monument.
