I mean… it *is* Halloween month… this under-exposed darkroom print was hanging out in the pile of “to use for tests and experiments” so when I accidentally blobbed out way too much red photo oil for another photo I was tinting, it seemed like the obvious pairing. I don’t normally hand color work in large swaths of solid color, but I have a project I cooked up over a year ago that I’m still trying to get going on, and it might have some bold colors… but really, I just wanted to paint the desert sky red. Shot out in one of my favorite low-key campsites in Big Bend Ranch State Park, Texas with the amazing little Voigtlander Perkeo II folding camera. Printed on Ilford Art 300 fiber- a fantastic surface for hand coloring with photo oils. #darkroomprint #ilfordart300 #voigtlanderperkeo #mediumformatfilmphotography
