What on Earth is Glory?: A Practical Approach to a Glory-filled Life

Weddings are beautiful. A man loving a woman for life, having kids and grandkids, being a family, and leaving a legacy—that is beautiful.

Restoration to glory is the true purpose of our redemption through Christ.

As C. S. Lewis wrote, “A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.”2

As helpful as it is to divide the Bible into Law and grace, Old and New, we must also remember these contrasting elements work together in telling a continuous story, from beginning to end, of grace.

From all eternity, God made us to behold and reflect His glory.
