Living a life of purpose is better than living in a state of reactive panic. The only way we have found to move beyond the panic is to fill our lives with purpose.

For our family members, I had written a list of ideas based upon my goals, our house, and what I knew of our kids. We wrote it on the chalkboard.

We now think of learning and creativity as lifelong stages. When we do either of these things well, they create value in the world.
