A Memory is a Bias in the likelihood that a sequence of neurons is fired again and again. Repeated Co-activation or one-Time very strong activation strengthens this bias.
You can get one-trial learning through strong valence in both directions. You can quicken it through an emotional high adrenaline or a solely high emotional state. But it’s the presence of high adrenaline, cortisol and neuroprenephrine that leads to the stamping done of the memories.
This episode I explain the mechanisms by which different types of memories are established in our brain and how to leverage the amount and timing of key neurochemicals and hormones, such as adrenaline (aka epinephrine) and cortisol, to improve your learning and memory abilities. I describe multiple science-based protocols to do this, including repe... See more
The timing of adrenaline release should be 5-15 minutes after the learning. You should try to reduce your amplitude. Most successful people are able to keep their activities, dopamine, training, learning within a certain range and never crash or fly outside of it.
Most people are only reciting memes and never producing original knowledge. You need to give yourself time for deep learning and deep thought. Try to schedule 30 minutes a day without any input (even podcasts).
