But most importantly, my reality is that God is real. Jesus is real. Jesus lived, died, and rose again. His promises are absolutely true. They’re real. Therefore when I fall, by His grace I can rise. When I’m doubled over in pain, by His grace I can rise. When I’m crippled with fear and anxiety and depression, by His grace I can rise.

What are we going to do about it?
Why Me? - Puts me in tunnel vision and I can’t see everything.
“What now?” - Allows us to step outside that prison and see ourselves not as victims. It breaks us out of self-pity. It gives us something to look forward to. It becomes part of God’s Plan.

Realize who God is, what he has done, who you are in Christ, where history is going. Put your troubles in perspective by remembering Christ’s troubles on your behalf, and all his promises to you, and what he is accomplishing.
