The Seven Labyrinths: Walking the post ego path

After many meetings and being together trying to create the culture of post ego, we learned that the post ego state can be “puzzled out.”

This two-part unreliability—1) things you report having experienced, seen. And 2) things you claim about your behavior—is the two-part labyrinth of everybody’s ego when it comes to truth.

It is very obvious that we cling to our ego through our most basic emotions of helplessness and fear and so on. It’s a desperate move that an infant or a toddler made when we were young, and we had very little to say about it.

The ego has this characteristic of liar, fabulist, inventor of stories, spinner of yarns—in other words, the consummate bullshitter. It seems that the things it is saying are true and valid and its “advice” must be heeded. But the things that it’s saying are often quite false. And the “advice” it is giving is not advice at all—it is a command.
