Bees live in wholeness. They dedicate themselves to working within the hive in a way we humans don’t grasp because we have individual personalities. Bees have the hive, and each individual pours love into the care and keeping of the colony.

Although individual bees die, the Bien is capable of living forever. In their world beyond the hive walls, bees bring life, song, and spirit to all they touch, making their larger community a more vibrant, abundant place.

They are beings who carry memory and meaning through time. While each bee lives a short life, the hive itself continues on and carries the wholeness of its expression through time. They use the word memorist, which was new to me the first time I heard it, to describe the hive’s collective memory.
