Self Illumination

Neti neti. (Not this, not this) Whatever the mind tosses up, negate it. Keep negating whatever it (mind) tosses up until it (mind) is quiet. Get a taste of that Silent Being-ness. It is what you are.

Whatever you appear to gain, get, or acquire, you can lose in a flicker. It is all conceptual.

The only way out of the mind, which is time, is to stop. Labels cannot be placed upon the naked Empty cognition.

What do you imagine that can be added to this spontaneous wakefulness? A concept? A spiritual ideal?

Your mind cannot know anything - it merely translates, labels and appears to be something. When you look for it, it cannot be found.

All there is, is this immediacy, which is Awareness, displayed in all its apparent shapes and forms.

Can you actually find a self or is it just a story about a self, a me? The blockage to the investigation is merely a belief in a story of me.

Understanding already Is. The only ‘thing’ that seemingly obscures understanding is a mechanical adherence to beliefs, second hand ideas, and erroneous concepts.

The form you call yourself has no capacity to see or know anything, just like the reflection in the mirror.
