Say nice things to people's faces 💛

I know that almost nobody hears too many sincere compliments. Compliment them to their face. Then, compliment them behind their back. Practice naming pleasant feelings you have about people, as soon as they bubble up, in the moment: “It’s always fun to see you.” Lower the resistance around this to zero.

Compliment people more. Many people have trouble thinking of themselves as smart, or pretty, or kind, unless told by someone else. You can help them out.

“The longer I live, the more I notice how valuable it is to do one simple thing: be kind.

– When someone does a good job, tell them.

– When someone makes a mistake, forgive them.

– When someone tells you their problems, listen.
