Rush hour

Looking back, it's crazy how work used to consume everything... like a machine that never stops.

I remember those nights... coding hanggang madaling araw, as if time doesn't exist. Feels like I was proud of it before - wearing those long hours like a badge of honor.

In short, I was mentally, emotionally, and physically burnout. But it took me a long time to figure it out because I wasn’t listless or unproductive or disengaged from my work. The problem was: All I was engaged with was my work. And that was causing me to work in a way that was utterly unsustainable.

Even with money and freedom these are difficult times to be alive. As the money dwindles and freedoms disappear,  ‘how’  gets harder. How can I feed my kids? How can I pay the bills? How are we going to survive?
