Two years ago, protesters on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement were blocking highways with their protests and demonstrations.

The resulting backlash was a wealth of internet comments of people posting that they would "run them over, they have no right to be there."

Well, it happened. Someone had actually plowed their car into a group protesting in the streets at a rally held by the Unite The Right movement this past Saturday (I'm not posting any links to the videos).

This is so reminiscent of the episode Hated In The Nation; internet rants and threats have turned into a reality. Now, those who were commenting that they'd run into protesters blocking roads have now seen it happen and are horrified.

Wait till the end game happens; if Black Mirror had taught us anything, it's to not be afraid of the immediate impact, but the consequences later on. I'm sure we'll all be beyond horrified.
