2. People Who Believe In Themselves Prepare For Success

I'd hate for something I make to go viral and then watch as nothing changes afterwards. No new fans, followers, or subscribers even though that ONE thing I did hit so hard.

I'd hate to get a big opportunity—like a celebrity shoutout, or being introduced to someone who can change my life—and then have nothing change for the better afterwards.

Yet, this is what happens over and over to talented artists.

You get your "moment"... A packed gallery showing... A sold-out showcase at Mercury lounge... And then?

Crickets.

Your career is no further along than it was before. What happened?

It isn't because you suck, or because you didn't follow through. It happens because you didn't prepare your foundation. And the reason you didn't prepare is because you didn't actually expect anything to happen.

Deep down, in your subconscious, you believe your art will die in obscurity and that you will work jobs you hate for the rest of your life.

Everything about the way you move is giving off that vibe.

That's why you share random things that are unrelated to one another online.

But if you believed in yourself...

- You'd "create a body of work" where people could discover your message and your story in a compelling way. You'd create a WORLD.

- You would prepare your online presence for your big break coming up.

- You'd set a solid foundation for when people find you where they'd have to say to themselves, "Holy sh-t! How did I never know about this?!"
