We all fight wars—in our work, within our families and abroad in the wider world. Each of us struggles every day to define and defend our sense of purpose and integrity, to justify our existence on the planet and to understand, if only within our own hearts, who we are and what we believe in.

But knowing it’s going to be a battle should not deter you from fighting it. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. If you abdicate your responsibility as a man to embrace the work that will serve you and others well, we’ll continue to see a decline in the moral decency and prosperity we enjoy.
