What power the right words have, God! They bring our inner reality to life and make our external reality comprehensible for us.

GOD, this leadership role that I play from time to time, this character I assume, is a gift from you. You know I am not essentially the head of all this. I am merely your child, trying to become like you and do what you want.

Help me sense my spiritual gifts so I will attempt only what you especially enable me to do and lead only where you are at work.

Unless your Spirit informs and encourages me, I will not know how to play my part.

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5, NIV

I am your child, and I want to learn, but unless your Spirit teaches me, I have little to offer. I need your wisdom.
