It’s time to upgrade from “hard-working” to “highly efficient”

Throughout my career I’ve noticed that when I work about 4-5 hours on something, I’m done. Regardless of whether I’ve allocated 6 or 8 or 10 hours to it, I either finish my tasks, or I run out of runway to finish them. Most of the time spent after that is just obsessive tweaking.

"High-medium-low" doesn’t scale. At four or more tasks, you’re forced to start doubling down on designations or to create subcategories of priorities. Eventually, you find yourself with a bucket of “high priority” projects wherein you don’t know what to tackle first.

LNO: Framework to prioritize time. There are leverage, neutral, and overhead tasks, where you get 10x, 1x or < 1x output. You should focus your best and the most hours on leverage tasks. Delegate or strike N and O tasks. The same activity can be all three depending on the context and how you execute it. Track L, N, O tasks.
