Instead of an Aggregator that operates like a social network and monetizes through ads, Twitter should be a Platform that operates like a professional network and monetizes through subscriptions. 

There are a few guiding principles behind what I think Twitter should do: 1. Make Power Users Happy, They’ll Keep Everyone Else Engaged. 
2. Power Users Want to Do More in the Twitter Ecosystem. 
3. The Twitter Graph is One of the World’s Most Valuable and Undermonetized Assets.
4. Twitter is More Than a Social Network.
