What to Do When the World Doesn’t Get You Embrace your uniqueness. Surround yourself with people who can actually “see” you. Don’t follow the pack. Connect to your “higher self” through a spiritual practice that suits you, and leave behind your “small self.”

Think about it: who are the most interesting people in history? The people who followed their own sense of truth.

the world needs each of us . . . and our ideas, dreams and visions (even if some get labeled “wacky” along the way).

Never let go of your childlike wonder. This keeps you innocent and non-judgmental.

once I sense it’s time to move forward from whatever sadness or grief I’ve been feeling, I just decide to open myself up to embrace the mysteries life has to offer (I see them as little pockets of magic).

Signs of Spiritual Awakening Embrace the changes you are going through. Resistance is the enemy. Let go. Don’t hold on to your old ways. They are gone. Look to the future and don’t look back. Exercise and eat right. You want your body working with you.

Visualize like a mother-trucker. Keep your eye on the prize and actually become your future self. Now. Write out in detail what you want for yourself. Look at that list. Every single day. Get honest with yourself. If you hate your life (or even if you don’t like something about it), change it. Walk right into the fire. You will be rewarded in gold.
