Critical Path Method (CPM) in Project Management
Resources must be modeled by skill sets, and then the project network must show the critical path which also takes resource skill dependencies into account (this is referred to as the critical chain of a project).

Any path that feeds into or merges with the critical chain or critical path is considered a feeding path. For very long (a rule of thumb is two thirds the length of the critical chain/critical path) feeding paths, follow Steps 9.1.1–9.1.3 on these paths.
