The reason for this is that this cluster of fields of knowledge is interdependent on each other (the brain level affects the behaviour level, the behaviour level affects the behaviour of other brains...), and no single discipline is sufficient to answer the questions posed in Cognitive Science

6. Clear up unfamiliar jargon.

This suggests to me the need for a separate field of human augmentation. That field will take input from cognitive science. But it will fundamentally be a design science, oriented toward bold, imaginative design, and building systems from prototype to large-scale deployment.

Cognitive Science needs an interdisciplinary approach – it needs to derive insights from psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, anthropology, computer science, linguistics, etc.

The most compelling scenario for mastering the software of intelligence is to tap into the blueprint of the best example we can get our hands on of an intelligent process.
