The other day I saw a picnic table under a tree, and it stopped me.

God made the tree. People made the table.

It reminded me of what T.D. Jakes once said: God didn’t make tables, He made trees — and He gave you a brain to imagine what those trees could be.

That table was a “creation from creation.” And it’s not just furniture — it’s a setting for life: conversations, meals, moments of rest. A ripple effect that started with God’s raw materials, passed through human imagination, and became a gift for others.

That’s how all our creative work happens. We don’t create from nothing; we create from what God has already made — wood, words, experiences, ideas. Imagination is the bridge between what is and what could be. Lose your imagination, and you lose your ability to see what’s possible.

The tragedy is, many of us keep our light under a bucket, trapped in our own fog of self-doubt and comparison. “It’s all been said before.” “I’m not good enough.” “What if I fail?” That fog blinds us — and keeps us from helping others see.

But here’s the truth: your perspective is a once-in-eternity combination of time, wiring, and experience. If you don’t speak it, someone’s “lightbulb moment” might never come.

So, lift your head. Clear your fog. Take the raw materials God’s given you, and shape them into something that helps someone else see.
