These shadow aspects are formed, have no chance to be healed, reconciled, or acknowledged.. then they go underground and fester. They manifest in environments of secrecy - an abusive relationship, the dark web, behind closed doors, in hushed voices, or in “judgement free” aka accountability free environments (e.g. Epsteins list, MAGA as a community based on groupthink)
Shadow characteristics are mostly formed by shame.
