Be Good To Your Mentors
In most cases, mentorship doesn't come with a ceremony when you treat your mentor this way. It's usually positive. When you're seeking a mentor, the question is: Where can you find people who can answer your questions? Next, the logical question is: How do you earn the right to keep asking questions?

During the Stay SaaSy protocol, you're supposed to explain what happened the last time you met with your mentor. If you can't, don't ask that mentor any more questions. It's okay to have long gaps between meetings with your mentors. If you have any questions, you should probably be judicious about them.

Having a hand in your success gives mentors pleasure since they've had a hand in it, and they want to know that their advice is helping you succeed. If you want good mentors, you should take their advice seriously and let them share in your success as well. If you don't see their advice making much of a difference, you cut them out of your life.
